With thousands of pages and hundreds of administrators, the former Columbia College Chicago website was not only severely outdated visually but bloated with poorly maintained content, inconsistent navigation and design. My role in this year-long project extended beyond design, and included user experience, user interface, and content strategy. Collaborating with a small team, we created a pared-down, sleek, and modern site bringing all 20+ academic departments under a unified design and voice, shifting the focus of the site solely on recruitment.
